Ever think about the word “love”? We are often quick to say it, but only have a limited view of what it really means. Let’s chat about what unconditional love 💕 really means. In essence, we might feel like we love our child(ren) unconditionally-nope!! We might feel we love our spouse’s unconditionally-nope. We may even feel like we love our parents or friends unconditionally-nope! What about our spiritual leaders? We feel like they are the closest one to heaven and pour our love out on them like no one else (the Pope, the Bishop, the Pastor, the Apostle)… until they do something wrong or let us down. So nope-not even our spiritual leaders are loved unconditionally. The only one and true unconditional love is GOD! He showed it (and is showing) through his son Jesus. Can we thank Him for not being human? He sees us, knows us (better than our selves), forgives us, teaches us, re-teaches us, helps us, guides us, leads us, covers us, protects us, provides for us, shields us, talks to us, gives us hope, strength and a future, forgets our past, gives us mercy every single day, assigned goodness and mercy to walk with all the days of our lives, sets our paths straight when we made them crooked. He gives us comfort and strength, peace and joy, understanding and discernment. He is longgggg suffering and patient with us. God is the ONLY ONE WHO LOVES US UNCONDITIONALLY. And guess what he asks for in return-to believe! Believe in Jesus and be saved. That’s IT!! Then you can do as he commands; love the Lord with all your heart mind and soul and live your neighbor (your real neighbor…lol) and your friends, family, people at the grocery store, the person that cut you off on the freeway, the co-worker that coughs and sneezes all the time and never cover their mouth) as yourself!! That’s it yawl! God is Love!❤️ and he wants us to choose HIM!
